November is BOOK MONTH daw. :)
Well, I can’t really remember who taught me how to read, kase kinder(5 years old) pa lang I can read syllables/simple words na raw. So when I turned 6, pinag-grade one na nila ko agad sa isang public school, so from a private catholic school they transferred me to a public school. para mas praktikal at matipid nga naman. :)
They interviewed me, asked me to write my name and made me read a children’s book both in Tagalog and English yata, if my memory serves me right. And boom! Naging section 1 ako nun. :)
So Thanks Ma, Thanks Teachers, Thanks Classmates, Thanks Books for inspiring, influencing me to read. And Thanks Dad for always reminding us that through reading you can travel everywhere and it enriches our vocabularies. xoxo
